SFU Team Phantom participates in one of the biggest Formula 1 student competitions around the world: Formula SAE.
ABOUT SAE
Formula SAE competitions are parts of SAE International Collegiate Design Series (CDS) programs, which prepare engineering students for future employment in the mobility industries through offering real world challenges and provide them with hands-on engineering experience.
The Formula SAE competitions challenge university engineering teams to design, fabricate, conceive, develop, and compete against each other with small, formula-style vehicles in a series of on-track and off-track against the clock.
Through the competitions, each team is given the opportunity to demonstrate their creativity and engineering skills while competing with other universities around the world.
SFU Team Phantom has participated in numerous events and competitions and we are eager to compete in more!
PREVIOUS COMPETITIONS
Team Phantom has competed in numerous competitions held by Formula SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers) to design and manufacture the best race cars, as well as participated in various events against engineering teams in Canada and across the globe. We strive to fully compete in future competitions!
